Bohol also has an airport. It is located in the city of Tagbilaran and so it's also called "Tagbilaran Airport". By now, we have four flights daily, connecting Bohol with Manila. Two flights by Cebu Pacific and two by Philippine Airlines. All flights are done with Airbus A319 or A320 Aircraft which can carry about 150 Passengers each. The schedule of the flights are spread over the whole day so that there is always a change to catch a flight to Manila during the daytime.
A few years ago there were also flights to Cebu Island nearby but they were cancelled due to the competition of Fast Ferries.

For Years now, there are rumors about the construction of a brand new "International Airport" for Bohol on Panglao Island. Even the President came here in 2007 to celebrate the start of the construction but since this might be mostly a land speculation project and nobody really knows what international Airlines would choose Bohol as a destination, there is still a big Question mark over the whole project.
